ACCESSIBILITY

At TSC, we believe all youth should have an opportunity to experience STEM in nature.

    Program Spaces

    Each group of participants will gather in a covered shelter via a finely crushed gravel path, making it accessible for many people with varying physical abilities

    Facilities

    A wheelchair-accessible port-a-potty is located central to program spaces. A traditional restroom is also available in the barn if needed.

    Raised Garden Beds

    Two of our garden beds were built to be wheelchair-accessible, providing a place for all children to engage in garden activities.

    Visual Supports

    Pictorial signage of our Core Values, Expectations, and Daily Schedules for each program group serve as supportive guides for visual learners in program spaces.

    STEAM Activities

    Nature-related activities are used for participant use to help regulate senses and give busy hands something extra to explore.

    Sensory bags are available for participant use to help regulate senses and reduce anxiety for those who need aid.
