ACCESSIBILITY

At TSC, we believe all youth should have an opportunity to experience STEM in nature.

  • Program Spaces

Each group of participants will gather in a covered shelter via a finely crushed gravel path, making it accessible for many people with varying physical abilities

  • Facilities

A wheelchair-accessible port-a-potty is located central to program spaces. A traditional restroom is also available in the barn if needed.

  • Raised Garden Beds

Two of our garden beds were built to be wheelchair-accessible, providing a place for all children to engage in garden activities.

  • Visual Supports

Pictorial signage of our Core Values and Expectations serve as supportive guides for visual learners in program spaces.

  • STEAM Activities

Nature-related activities are used for participant use to help regulate senses.

  • Sensory Bags

Sensory bags are available for participant use to help regulate senses and reduce anxiety for those who need aid.
