For many children in Indianapolis, a creek, a beehive, or a walk through the woods is not part of everyday life. The STEM Connection changes that. On 30 acres of nature inside the city, students get the chance to explore, experiment, and discover STEM in ways that feel real, joyful, and connected to the world around them.

While TSC operates leanly, experiences like these cost more to provide than many schools and families can afford on their own. That gap is made possible by donors and funders who believe every child deserves access to curiosity, discovery, and belonging.

Every dollar given is more than support for a program. It is a direct investment in a child who might not otherwise have the chance to stand in a creek bed, observe a beehive, or discover that science exists all around them. In 2025, 52% of TSC participants came from low-income households. They were able to be there because people like you believed it mattered.
