Summer Camp Policies

  • Registrants may cancel a registration at any time. Prior to 48 hours before the program, the spot will open back to general registration. If cancellation occurs once the registration is closed, the spot may be filled by the first person on the waitlist, given there is enough time for communication and planning to take place. No refunds will be given within two weeks of the program.

Summer camp may be canceled by The STEM Connection due to inclement or unsafe weather, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances.

  • If registration is full for a program event, a participant may register to join the waitlist. If a registered participant cancels more than 48 hours before the program event, their spot can open to the next person on the waitlist.

  • Please see the attached document regarding conduct expectations and policies.

  • Parents/Guardians must fill out the Medication Administration form in RegPack in order for a child to have medication administered to them by a TSC staff member. This form must be updated annually.

If medication is to be kept with participant (e.g. inhaler, epi-pen, etc.), parent/guardian should alert a TSC staff member at drop off.

  • We are an exclusively outdoor facility. For the safety of participants, we require all participants to wear:

    • Close-toed shoes that cover the entire foot (like tennis shoes/sneakers, hiking boots, etc.) Crocs do not count.

TSC highly recommends that participants bring an additional pair of water shoes or crocs to wear in the creek. Additionally, TSC highly recommends participants bring a hat or head covering of some kind.

TSC also suggests that participants apply sunscreen and bug spray prior to their arrival at camp. There will be opportunities to reapply during the day.
